Scherzo for piano by Irina Nenartovich is a dramatic piano composition in Classical Contemporary style for students at the advanced level (Gr 7-8 ABRSM). This piece was commissioned by NJMTA in 2010. Irina Nenartovich was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, studied music from the age of five, and has graduated from the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory, where she studied with the famous Russian composers Sergei Slonimsky and Gennadi Banschikov. Ms. Nenartovich lives in the USA where she is teaching piano and theory and composes her music.
