Alex Saratsky

Alex Saratsky is a prolific Ukrainian composer and pianist best known for his original compositions for orchestra and jazz arrangements of traditional folk songs.

Jazzy Carol of the Bells is a festive arrangement of the famous Ukrainian Christmas Carol ‘Щедрик’ released by the EVC.

The original song was about a little martin bird returning home for the New Year, which was celebrated in Ukraine before Christianity on the 1 April.

All proceeds from sales will be donated to the charity in Ukraine named by the composer.
